  It
took him about 45 minutes to get back to his dressing room after winning the NWA World Heavyweight Championship Sunday night
at Against All Odds in Orlando, Fla. Christian Cage was swamped en route with congratulatory well-wishes and countless people

Eckstein, the shortstop for the St. Louis Cardinals who watched the pay-per-view from the front row.

never again will lead a normal life. He is now truly among the elite in pro wrestling history. Christian Cage spoke with Ross

  Your thoughts?
  "I'm a little overwhelmed. It's a great
feeling, incredible. As I said before the match, everything I worked so hard for, for 12 years ... well, my whole career kind
of flashed before my eyes right in the ring at the end of the show."  http://acehearts29.tripod.com/id21.html

                                             Orlando, FL By: Marcus Cygy

We started off by reviewing the comments made by both Jeff Jarrett and Christian Cage concerning
the events leading up to tonight’s match for the NWA World Heavyweight Title.

JB was backstage with Larry Zbyszko in his office along with Dave Hebner. Larry told us that
tonight for Jeff Jarrett vs. Christian Cage there would be no interference, no illegal weapons used, and the referee situation
is taken care of. Jeremy Borash asked about the referee situation but Larry and Dave Hebner had to leave to take care of some
                                             other important business.
The paid portion of tonight’s “Against All Odds” Pay-Per-View now kicked
off with footage from earlier tonight showing the arrivals of Christian Cage and Jeff Jarrett. D’Amore told Eric Young
not to mention about Sting, not tonight. Jarrett said life is good without Sting and that’s when Eric Young got worried,
he had to let Jarrett know that Sting isn’t gone and he did as you could see D’Amore behind Jarrett doing hand
motions to zip it. Jarrett reiterated just like time after time that Sting is finished and gone for good. He made Eric Young
repeat his words to get it straight in his head.   TNA PPV Results

I am having a random thought attack. And, as usual, when I suffer from this I feel the need to share it with all of you.

Here we go: My first Random Thoughts of the year 2006!

TNA's next pay-per-view looks like it is going to be purchased by me. How could I stay away from the Samoa Joe vs. AJ Style
vs. Christopher Daniels X division match?? On top of that, my curiosity is piqued by seeing Jeff Jarrett vs. Christian Cage
for the NWA championship... will ol' Double J book himself to go over yet again against a former WWE star to feed his own
ego, or will he let the fans have something they rarely get: A champion they actually want to see?

is scheduled for the iMPACT! tapings tonight.
Sting will be at the iMPACT! tapings tonight as well but won't be wrestling
                                             in any matches.
The matches for TNA's next PPV, Against All Odds, will be announced at tonight's tapings. There are
conflicting reports as to what the main event is going to be as they were going back and forth between Jeff Jarrett vs. Christian
Cage for the title or Jeff Jarrett vs. Sting for the title. They may hold Sting off for another month. We'll know tonight
                                             for sure.

                                             | AJ Styles mentions Christian in recent interview |

The UK’s #1 Wrestling talk show Powerslam Radio welcomed back NWA:TNA superstar
                                             AJ Styles to the show.
AJ was asked specifically about the arrival of Christian Cage and Sting. AJ said the
most important thing is that TNA gets more viewers and the new talent will help bring that. He described himself as being
a "team player" and doing whatever was best for the company. AJ however said TNA must not forget "where they came from" and
continue to build the X-Division. He said fans watch TNA for the X-Division and he hopes that the arrival of Christian
and Sting does not affect the emphasis given to that division in any way.
Co-host Lee asked AJ whether any of the
roster resented the WWE guys for coming in and taking their spots- especially since many of them have helped build TNA from
the ground up. AJ conceded "That’s gonna happen" but the TNA writers should help expand the characters of the existing
guys. He said fans already know what Christian and Sting can offer but it would be beneficial for TNA if the characters
of "Chris Sabin, Sonjay Dutt and Alex Shelley" for example were expanded and given more mic time.
  AJ was asked whether
TNA was really competing with the WWE or whether it was merely an alternative. AJ said TNA are definitely competing. He went
onto to explain the signings of The Dudleys, Christian etc showed that they meant business and said "the only thing
we are missing is money." He said he understands TNA have lost millions, but they are all aiming to get those millions back.

                                             | Christian mentioned in "The Bank Shot" |

I thought the Christmas Eve edition of "iMPACT!" was another homerun for TNA,
with Christian Cage and Chris Harris both stepping up and delivering a solid main event. I expect big things from both
                                             stars in 2006.
"iMPACT!" returns to SpikeTV this Saturday night for two New Years specials - the first episode airing
at 8PM, the second airing at midnight. On the first broadcast, you'll see "The Man Beast" Rhino taking on Team Canada's A1,
"The Phenomenal" AJ Styles vs. James Storm, Jeff Jarrett and The Alpha Male in tag team action and much more. Then, kick off
the New Year with TNA at midnight on SpikeTV with Christian Cage and some major news on "The Man In Black" and his
                                             future in TNA Wrestling.
In other merchandise news, t-shirts for Team 3D, Christian Cage and others will roll
out in the New Year on ShopTNA.com. I also hope to have an exclusive tidbit in my next column on a new line of TNA/Marvel
